- The USA Dallas Federal Reserve Bank announced that the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank Manufacturing Index was obtained after the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank conducted a Investigation on the prospects of Texas 'manufacturing industry, providing a timely assessment of factory activities. The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas asked companies surveyed in the Investigation whether their output, employment, orders, prices and other Metric had ascension, declined or remained Invariant from the previous month. Investigation results are used to calculate the index of each Metric. Each index is calculated as the percentage of respondents reporting an ascendent minus the percentage of respondents reporting a decline. If the Data is better than expected, it means that an improvement in the manufacturing industry will be positive for the US dollar; otherwise, it will be negative for the US dollar.
